Qatar International Petroleum Marketing Company Ltd. (Tasweeq) Q.J.S.C. aspires to be a Centre of Excellence providing marketing intelligence to deliver Qatar’s energy to the Globe working in partnership with Qatar’s Oil & Gas Industry including the Producing Entities and Government Sectors. Tasweeq delivers regional market research to the local industry that also aids Government’s decision-making and the hydrocarbon national resource development in marketing. Tasweeq also aspires to be the premier source of regional Oil & Gas marketing and logistics information Tasweeq was incorporated in July 2007 by Emiri Decree Law No. 15 of 2007. Tasweeq is wholly owned by the Government of the State of Qatar, operates independently from other oil & gas companies and is responsible for the export marketing of Regulated Products comprising liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), refined products, condensates and sulphur. Tasweeq also markets Non-Regulated Products (crude oil and GTL entitlements) on behalf of Qatar Petroleum under an agency agreement.
